Dance Club and Disco Club question

I have an odd question.  I want to place a disco in a particular world.  But I like the look of one of the custom dance clubs.  Can I place the dance club and change it to a disco club?  I mean I know I can, but will it be missing something?  Is there something I need to add to make it a decent disco club?  Or can I just straight up change the lot assignment and not worry about it?

After you place it, you should be able to change the lot type.

...and that's all I have to do...it will work just fine as a disco by just changing the lot assignment?  That is AWESOME....I have another favourite dance club as well but it wouldn't really work as a disco, but this one will make an amazing disco.  So cool I can now have both in any world.

Just changing the lot type is all you really need to do. As far as I know the main difference between the dance and disco clubs it the type of drink sold at the bar and the type of music played.
Any changes you want to make to make it look and feel more like a disco club is up to you.

I have it placed, and first weekend in the game the place was wild...so many sims, I love it.
