Disabling all memories with Story Progression or Master Controller- RESOLVED

I'm still learning how to use both of these and I'm experiencing some lag.  I'm on a gaming PC, one that can handle just about everything on Ultra settings, so I think it has to do with memories.  I'm not quite sure how to completely stop the memories from clogging things up.  Anyone know how to?  Or know of another solution?

I think you can turn off memories in the options (without mods) - I can't remember exactly where though - does someone know more specifically?

*facepalm*  Thanks Pallyn.  I knew about the option, but for some reason, I was still getting memories... come to find out, once I went in game to investigate, I had hit the wrong thing XD I disabled the notifications, but forgot to disable the actual memories XD 

And thanks Pam, yeah... apparently, I'm just a dunce today XD
