So I've decided to make a family and play with aging on to see how far I can keep the strifes going on (Bonus cookie for those who get the reference, as a hint -best game in existence >.> *hides from people launching copies of the Sims at him*) anyway... First little kid I've ever had playing the game and have I found it a challenge. x.x The 4 days maternity leave haven't been enough, so I've needed to get Molly Strife (Formally Molly French) To take a whole 5 days unpaid from work just to cope.  I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions to handle a kid with both working parents? Both of them are chefs and in about 10 days Molly will be elderly so she can retire.

Well, you could hire a babysitter, and teach it to walk, talk and potty on their days off.

Have you read the guide article on raising kids?  It's pretty in depth and might answer a lot of your questions.  You can find it HERE.

But to answer with some quick tips, personally I find parenting easier if one Sim is the stay at home parent, and the other works to earn money.  But if both must work, then by all means use a babysitter during work hours, and try to teach the toddler skills when you get home from work, or on days off.
