Medical Career for Xbox 360 The Sims 3 Pets

Hi everyone.  I have joined the medical career and it says I have to do research.  How do I do the research?  I am stuck on this can some one please help?? Thank you.

I think I did medical once.  I think if I remember you get reseach journals or medical journals in your inventory for each day and you read them each day like you do homework each day.  I think this is what research means.

That's how it works in the PC version of the game, so perhaps it's the same.  Twmirrorimage, have you checked your Sim's inventory?

Yes, it's the same, but sometimes it gets a little glitchy and you don't always get a new one each work day.

You get journals, but I also have a vague feeling you could use a computer to do research as well? I might be wrong, that might have been another career.

I think computer research is a possibility for medical unless it comes with an opportunity that I don't know about.
