The Sims 3 pets crashing issues

Okay, so my game has been crashing since I installed Pets and I read all that stuff about adding it to the DEP and so I am trying to do that, but I can't find TS3EP05.exe ANYWHERE to put in the DEP spot. I even typed in the file name and my computer says that it does not exist. I do not want to have to uninstall Sims 3 Pets but I will if I have to.

It should be located in your game folder on your hardrive, not the document folder.  Look in the The Sims 3 Pets/Game/Bin folder.  That's where mine is.  Mine is: C:/Program Files (x86)/Electronic Arts/The Sims 3 Pets/Game/Bin
