I just did this, and got fairly mixed results. I bought a furnishings and a CAS box. I got some pointless decor items and a random table from the furnishings box, but I got some gorgeous clothes and some average hairstyles from the CAS box, plus a bonus Hewnsman dining set. I guess thats the way the cookie crumbles sometimes.

I bought one CAS box and got a couple cute dresses, a toddler outfit, the Wild Wears set, and a mic stand. It has been a good day for toddlers in my game.

I'm a little confused. I paid 300 SimPoints and got two items, both 25 points.

With each box, you may receive one or more items from a particular store category, worth at least the amount of SimPoints you paid.

I thought this meant that I got 300 points worth of stuff. Am I missing something here?

I got myself a waning moon deco set and a summer-wear CAS set from two types of boxes, I think the former worth more than the latter as I like that kind of stuff and it includes a few CAS items, whereas the latter doesn't include deco furniture and I don't like the style at all. I probably won't by more of them but I am not too regretful of my curiosity.

I went for the 1500 point option on both. Between the 14 boxes, in addition to the various single items I received 7 sets including 3 that were worth over 1000 each. Approximately half of the CAS items will never get used and maybe 1/3 of the clothes will only see use as random townie/NPC outfits but overall I feel that the expenditure was well worth it.

Ah! I finally got the rest of my items, via purchase history. I got (to add to the items I mentioned earlier) the Auto-Noms Automatic Pet Feeding Station, a bucket (decorative), pots and bottles, etc (decorative), an elephant sculpture, a bird house, a bin and a chair. Hmm, mixed results. I'm pleased with the pet feeding station, the elephant and bird house but I'll probably not use the rest. I really would like to get a CAS box though...
