Can't click on beds for my Sims

I installed IP and I moved my family to Sunlit Tides.  Now, for the two YA daughters, I can't click on their beds to make them go to sleep. I can click on everything else, just not the beds.  Everyone else in the family is fine.  I tried resetting them, I tried new beds, new bedrooms and even split them off and moved them to a new house.  I still can't click on their beds to make them sleep.  Obviously, this is a problem since they don't necessarily go to bed before they are in the red exhausted.

I've had a problem similar to that in the past.

In my case it was the tents from Island Paradise, and I found I had to save the game, exit, shut down the computer, restart the computer, clean the caches, reload the game and it was then fine for me. Sometimes, I also find that in the lead up to that happening, if I just hover the mouse over the tents, I am told that the tent is a harvestable of some kind. When I've saved, exited, shut down, restart, clean and finally reload, it all goes back to normal.

I had the same problem and from my experience only re-loading is enough. But, I suggest you try what Dek said just in case.
