- Edit Town
- World Editor
- Add a 10x10 Lot
- Click the Select tool
- Click the new lot
- Click Change Lot Type
- Select Community / Gallery Shop
- Optional: Click Edit Details and edit
- Return to Game
- Click Phone / Real Estate and Travel Services / Check Real Estate
- Buy the Lot
- Place one or more Retail Display Pedestals
- Design outfits for the various categories or use the defaults
- Watch flocks of town Sims run to your new outlet and buy outfits
When I did this just now my Sim Joe couldn't even jetpack to the lot fast enough before people were there to shop. I had the statue in less than five real-world minutes (not counting the time I spent checking that the outfits weren't hideous). Wow!
