Birth giving glitch in Oasis Landing! In serious need of help

Okay, so I have a family of five sims:
YA witch Desire
adult werewolf Jonathan
Jonathan's YA were son Jesse
Desire's human husband Matthew
and their cured ghost roommate Glenda.

Glenda, Jonathan and Desire went to Oasis Landing, and Glenda got pregnant by Nick Decker, a local ghost. Everything was going smooth and well until Glenda started to give birth. She did her huffs-and-puffs and the game said it's a girl with Loves the Outdoors and Virtuoso traits. I named the baby, and another pop-up came, saying the exact same gender and traits. I named and was confused. That same happened like ten times, my original sims disappeared from the green boxes and were replaced by empty green and the names I gave to the babies. I quit and restarted five times, tried giving birth at hospital, at home and in library. I have saved a little before she gave birth, because I wanted a rainboo at first try. I don't have or have had any CC or mods at all, so can't be because of them. Is there any way to escape this glitch? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I've had similar. Back in my first dynasty I sent Gaia, second gen, Neptuna, third gen and Mars fourth gen with his wife. His wife became pregnant over in the future and when she gave birth she gave birth to quadruplets and am of them had the same name and traits, however, the box only came  up once. I had to do an entire factory reset, as my last save had the wife pregnant so I couldn't  go back.
