Hi Kitkatdouble, and welcome to the Forum! :D

Have you attempted resetSim, by chance?

You might try going to a mirror and try a 'change appearance'. Go to makeup then the button for costume makeup. You should be able to fix it there.

Thanks kellie13, raiadraconis. Where would I find this resetsim button? Sorry I'm new to the sim world.

resetSim isn't a button, rather a command. In your game, press Shift-Ctrl-C (or Shift-Ctrl-Windows button-C if on Windows 7 or 8 ) and a command line will appear at the top of the screen. Type in resetSim, then a space, then whatever your sim's full name is.

For example: resetSim Christopher Steel

Press enter, and that sim will reset back home. This also helps if the sim becomes stuck in any way.

As a note, you don't need to press the Windows button to bring up the command line if you're running Windows 7/8. I've run the game on both, and Shift+Ctrl+C works just fine.

ResetSim probably won't take the facepaint off, though. I had a sim autonomously get her face painted, and she spent three weeks with a sun painted on her cheek until I took her to the mirror to manually remove it. It's worth a try, but the mirror is the most fool-proof way to get rid of it.

To take off almost anything in The Sims (as far as I know), all you have to do is click the item again.  For example, if you wanted to take off your face paint, go to a mirror and select "Change Appearance."  Then go to the "Costume Makeup" tab.  Click the box that shows the picture of the face paint that you're wearing.  It should then come off.
