Having a kid

Does anyone know if you can have a baby while in the future?  I must've tried like a couple dozen of times and even used fertility treatment on both toons <i like to cover all my bases  > but so far nothing.  Is the base game and all the areas that you can get for the base game the only way to get a kid?  The reason I'm trying this is I want to see if Maxis would do something like erase your future family.  Also, my wife I met is from the future itself as well.

You can. My sims made almost all women from future pregnant. I don't know how you can fix it, maybe someone else can help with that. If not, then try making a baby in the hospital.

Now when you did have the babies were you still using a sleep pod or did you buy a regular bed to do the making a baby thing?  As for the hospital, I'll admit to it that it has surprisingly <to me anyways> to try and do that within the game but then again I never did have the experience I'm having when it comes to creating kids.  Also, which future were you in the default one or one of the others?
