Moving Money Trees between lots

So at first I was living in an apartment, and I bought a vacant lot to make my garden. It's just way too far away and I'm wanting to move it to my new house, but is there any way to move my money trees to my new house? Don't really care about the other things.

I don't think so. However, after a while you should have a money tree seed on the ground near the plant, store it in your inventory then you can plant it on your home lot.

you can't move any plants between two lots, you will have to get a seed, have a high enough skill to plant it and then let it grow in your yard. 
You can go and harvest money and other items from your garden when you move.  I had planted a garden on a lot, moved to a bigger lot and was able to go to my old home lot and harvest the fruits and veggies there. Didn't have a money tree, but the same would apply.

If you don't mind doing the cheats, you can use the testing cheat and then do the buydebug and get a money tree from there in the spawner selections.
