For the past few months I've been having problems with my game. I'm trying to start a Sims 3 series for my Youtube channel but when I finally think that I have it all together, something always goes wrong and I have to fix that and then another problem comes along and it's a really vicious cycle and I have to put off making my series. So, what happens is that I'll download some much needed CC for my series and my game will install it all and I can go into the game and it'll work just fine. I only use Sims3packs because I can download through the launcher. The problem is (This is the second time I've had this problem) that I am able to install and uninstall CC through my launcher and I can open my game and it'll be there or won't be and everything is fine. But after a while the installer that adds the cc to the game and vice versa doesn't work. It just becomes a black square on my screen until I end the task with Task Manager. When my game doesn't install or uninstall I can't play it either. I'll open it and it's just a black screen with a blue loading circle cursor and nothing happens because it doesn't respond. After this happened for the first time I uninstalled my game and that also didn't work so I uninstalled and reinstalled Origins and after that it worked. The only problem is that instead of having my game screen be border-to-border like I prefer, it is now full-screen and it really sucks but I've tried living with it by playing it in the windowed option. My game was functioning but then I had to replace my important CC for my series and download new Sims from The Exchange. I downloaded that, a couple of lots, and some clothes and whatnot. It worked fine for a while until the unresponsive installer problem came back and I couldn't enter my game. It could possibly be some bad cc but I can't uninstall anything because the cc installer is unresponsive. So, the first thing I think of is repeating the process I did to make everything work again. I uninstalled my game, reinstalled. and it didn't work. I uninstalled Origins, reinstalled. and that didn't work either. I uninstalled both and reinstalled and now I'm stuck with the problem that my game is at version 18.0.126.019001 and I know that I have to update it to Version 1.63 or whatever but this time it said my game was up to date and I couldn't update it. Which means that I can't test the game to see if it works this time because it's not compatible with my expansion packs. I don't know what to do. I'm growing really impatient and I feel like no one knows how to help me. I've tried posted on The Sims 3 forum but couldn't get any help. Please help me. I don't know what to do anymore. I really don't want to uninstall and reinstall my game again because It's a LONG process and takes hours.
