Secret Door

I placed a secret door in a house where I wanted a secret room, but the door seems to just look like a hole in the wall, not at all secret. How do I make the secret door work?

In Sims 2 there was something about using moveobjects to place a mirror over a door to hide it and I tried it and it worked, I wonder if it works in Sims 3. By secret door are you using a CC Door or an ordinary door?

It the one in build mode called "revolving door" or something like that. I think it came with WA.

I know hidden doors can be found using the Buydebug cheat in a normal game household though.

You can actually get the hidden revolving door in the build mode in the door section.  I put it in a house and decided not to use it, but it was fine in mine.  Not sure about the hole in the wall, suppose to look like the wall.  Did you delete it and try over or try another house?

The 'secret door' when placed shows up as transparent in buy/build mode.  If you use the create-a-style tool to match the door to your walls it will blend in very nicely when the door is closed.
