How canI find a townie (presumably homeless)?

Hi Everyone!

I play with a family in Twinbrook. One of the children had a wish from out of nowhere, that she wants to welcome friendly a sim. I promised to her, because it seemed as an easily fulfillable wish, but when I promised it, the mentioned sim was not there already, I don't know who it is, I never saw him. A few days passed, I fulfilled other wishes of her, but this one stayed there, I didn't care about it. Though I caught "my child" to think of him from time to time. It started to intrigue me, where is that guy, but I couldn't find him in one of the other households, so I checked after it, and I found out that there are homeless townies in the game. I learnt that townies can be deleted by the game for different reasons. I thought he might been deleted, and I know the wish will be there till I cancel it, but the girl still thinks of him, maybe it means that he is still out there.  Now I'm really curious, whether is a way (even with cheat) to find him. All I know is that he's first name is Michale (I checked it, it's not Michael) and he seems to be a teen. I can upload a picture of his portrait, if it helps.

If he's a teen NPC, he's probably a babysitter or newspaper deliverer. You can keep calling for a babysitter in hope that he'll show up. Is the girl a child, or a teen? If she's a teen, you can probably meet him at school with the "Meet New Friends" mode. Hope this helps!

I tried, but no luck. I even tried to place a High Rise building, because I read somewhere that homeless sims move in, but nothing. It seems the boy (he was the teen, and my child was the girl) vanished.
I just wanted to thank you, because after checking your reply I forgot to answer ( I was eager to try it out).

If your sim becomes acquainted with any NPC, you can click on the NPC's portrait in the relationship section and pick "Invite Household Over" as an option. This will give you a list of all the NPCs (maids, newspaper deliverers, firefighters, etc.) in that household. Sometimes there's more than one NPC household in town, but this can give you some idea of whether the homeless townie is still around.

If you place a skyscraper from Late Night to any town and go inside it, there is that thing with which you can call townies. I've not tested it myself in any main neigbourhood, but in Oasis Landing it works wonders.

EDIT: I tried it in Isla Paradiso and it worked there too, just as well.
