Thank goodness I have a recent earlier save.
That said, I'd be curious, if possible, how I might use nraas to fix this anyway without reverting to the earlier save.
The game thinks my sim is now a plumbot!
Fun and energy motives have disappeared: set to 0, can still decrease, but no negative moodlets.
For some time now before turning into a plumbot the sim seems unable to take advantage of dreams on the future bed-- assumed that was a bug with the bed and thought no more of it (will sleep-- but only for a split second before waking).
The lifetime wish is replaced with a plumbot logo, saying I need a sentience chip.
Skills are also blocked off, saying I need lifetime learning.
Other things are unaffected however. The original skills remain,
and I'm unable to use the charging station, and unable to actually try to install a chip on my sim.
Now that I think on it, this must have happened immediately after nraas detected an error and reset the sim. Also, resetting the sim via command console fixes nothing, nor does editting in CAS
Sadly, plumbot, unlike simbot, is not considered an occult life state... so using nraas to simply change the occult state, does not suffice.
Where do you assign plumbot (or not plumbot)?
Methinks I'd best look to that earlier save....
but curious if anyone else has had this!
Otoh it seems my sim never needs to sleep or have fun again! At the cost of losing access to all skills, so, no.
