Where are the clues for the ocean quest in Oasis Landing?

You are supposed to be able to be able to put clues together to find out what happened to the ocean in Oasis Landing in the ITF expansion, but I can't find the clues. Is this glitched or has anyone had any luck?

I haven't really done much with Emit's opportunities in the future yet beyond the initial chain and the chain that involves going into the ship. I was planning to explore more of the future today, but I imagine the clues are in his opportunities. I'll let you know what if anything I find out from today's play. My plan is to create a Sim for the sole purpose of going to the future and doing all the opportunites Emit has.

Ok, at this point, I have no clue where the clues are. I did all of Emit's opportunities that I could get and couldn't really find anything in them. I may have missed something, but I tried to read it all as thoroughly as I could. There is one opportunity chain that I got on a previous playthrough involving bot building, but I couldn't seem to get it to come up this time around. Maybe, the clue is in that chain of opportunities. It was the chain that involves buying a plumbot at one point. My guess would be that nanites are somehow involved in what happened, especially since they're mostly found in the wasteland.
