Hot Spings and Ocean Disappearing

I have two questions.

1) My Sim wants to soak in a Hot Spring in the Dystopian Future. But, I can't find anything that resembles a hot spring. I thought it might have to do with meteor crashes, but they don't seem to leave anything behind. Does anyone know where they are?
2) How do I trigger or where is the story line for the disappearing Ocean?

1. Are you sure it's hot spring and not hot tub?

My sims have also had wishes to soak in a hot spring (not tub).  I've yet to find a hot spring.

Yep. It says something along the lines of meteors destroy the land but those fissures make great hot springs. The wish shows a picture of a sims soaking in a rift. I tried exploring rifts, but nothing good comes of that.

Ah well, one theory over at TS3 forums is that it was a feature they removed, but forgot to delete the wish.
