I just bought island paradise for my pc laptop from Amazon and I elected to buy via download. I put the code for the game in origin and it told me in order to install island paradise, I had to un-install my base game and download it again through origin. Why is this? Granted my base game I got is a few years old ( I got it from target like three years ago or so) but what difference does downloading it from origin make?
The worst thing about it too is is that now it is taking FOREVER to re-install the base game again ( current time on my download is (9:50:31).
I just need to know if I did the wrong thing or not? Should I try and get my money back from Amazon and get the Island Paradise expansion through the regular CD-Rom version or should I just stick out what I already started?
