Downloaded Patterns?
« on: January 12, 2010, 09:19:21 AM »
Hi. Well, I downloaded some patterns off the website, but they don't show up in create a style. They have gone cloudy which means they are installed and the objects I downloaded at the same time showed up in game. I don't know if I'm looking in the wrong place or if you have to do something extra.

Try using the in-game EA store button that came with the latest update; you should get a list of your downloads. You may be able to install your stuff from there even though the launcher says it's already installed.

I'm having the same problem with patterns not showing up in the game.
In the Exchange when I click on the pattern to open it's page to the left of the picture under contains it says Please Update Your Game even tho my game is updated with the latest patch.

The only patterns that don't have this message seems to be the ones that already in the game and have just been recolored and uploaded as a new pattern. But any of them that use a new texture don't seem to work for me.

I've tried installing them with the launcher, downing the file then install it and install them as a mod but nothing works.

I posted about this on EA forum and lot of other people are having the same problem but no solution for it yet that I've been able to find.
A clear conscience is usually a sign of a bad memory.

It sounds like you've done everything right.  It may be a bug that EA needs to address.
