Hardest achievements / worthwhile opportunities?

Hello, I'm new to this forum and I'd like to say that I did do a couple searches before posting a thread 

What is the general consensus on hardest achievements / opportunities in the game? I'm making a 'super sim' right now that I want to have everything on and I've started with guitar cause I know guitar star is going to be terrible but I've already had some bad experiences with the omniplant stuff so I thought I'd ask about any other extremely difficult ones that I should watch out for before I'm forced to restart my sim, heh.

You're smart to start with Guitar and the Guitar Star challenge.  That's by far the most difficult to get.  Also, be sure that your Sim doesn't learn any other skills until Guitar Star is complete because it will just make it even harder.

There's also one opportunity related to the Culinary Career that has been believed to be bugged.  It's the Bad Apple Opportunity and you're asked to take a bad apple, plant it, and grow 10 more bad apples in a week.  I'm not aware of anyone who has been able to complete this challenge without cheating.

What kind of problems did you have with the Omniplant series?  I've completed that one several times.  Perhaps I can help.

Just getting it, haha. I know that you need to do the first two, it just took a while is all. My sims tend to be multitalented so there's always a few skills that are fighting for that opportunity spot.

Is there any way to influence what opportunities you get? And thank you for the quick reply.

I don't think there is anyway of specifying which Opportunities you want more, I think it is random so you have to keep the Slot free till the one you wants comes up, the only way I know of is have few skills and a certain skills Opps will come up more frequently.
