Pet bowls

I cannot seem to get my sims to fill the pet bowl so my dog can eat. I have tried changing bowls but that has not worked. Help, it is a glitch in my game?

What happens when you try to get the Sim to fill the bowl?  Do they drop it from the queue (just not do it) or do they complain in some way?  Could there be something in the way of the bowl?  Have you tried moving the bowl?

It will not let me click on the bowl. It is not blocked by anything. I do have a rug under it, I will remove the rug and see what happens. Thanks for you help

I removed the rug, bought a new bowl and yahoo, it is fixed. I can now feed my dog.

Great news!  As a dog lover myself, I can't bear to think of a dog going hungry.  Not even a pixilated dog.

It's incredible the number of times a problem is caused by something simple like the rug under the dog bowl.

Yes it is. I am a dog lover too. Have a real one of my own. He is a little cutie too. So glad I can now feed my cyber dog too! Thank you for your response. Made me laugh.
