Created in response to a request by NearlyWitches for a resort-like Island Paradise house with modern decor.  The house needed six bedrooms and some fun spaces for nerds.

This large modern house has room for everyone, with spacious common areas, comfortable bedrooms and recreational areas galore, for both adults and children.  The ground floor has an extensive pool, with hot tub, slide and diving board.  There is a library/office, a living room with fireplace and TV, an activity room with chess and a drafting table, a large kitchen and dining room and a half bath.  On the other side of the pool is a small gym and all-in-one bathroom.  Upstairs, there are six bedrooms -- two for children or teens, three for adults, and a spacious, sunny nursery with room for two infants or toddlers.  One of the bedrooms is a private sanctuary, across a glass-lined bridge over the pool.  On the top floor is a nerd's paradise, with video grames, arcade games, foosball and a ping-pong table, plus a telescope on the smallest of three balconies.  One of the other balconies is an adult entertainment space with a bar, grill and stereo for dancing.  The other is a children's play area and rooftop garden.  There is also a small unfinished basement, ready for expansion if needed.

Thanks!  I appreciate the comment; it's always good to know when other builders like your things, as well as players.  And yeah, I totally cheat on the 10 images per post limit, especially for the giant houses that I usually do for requests. That was actually the hardest part of the castle contest for me: deciding which images to post, because we can't use collages!  I had to leave out the dungeon, the bedrooms, the bathrooms, the gardens... Luckily there are no such restrictions in the regular Swap Shop!

Thanks, Gogowars!  That's really awesome of you to say.  I wish I were an architect, actually, but unfortunately I am a bureaucrat. It's nice to have a creative thing like Sims building and decorating to do in my spare time, to make up for all of the routine, boring stuff I do all day at work.

Hooray!  So glad you like it.  I really like doing modern décor (and I love unlimited budgets ) so I jumped at the chance.  I was excited to get to build with Master Suite Stuff, too.  I love that bathroom set and some of the lighting, but a lot of people don't have it.  Hope your Sims like living there.

One note:  I noticed after I uploaded it that there are no lights in the pool, so you may want to fix that.

Of all the houses I got from swap shop, this is my absolute favourite! I often think that modern houses are a bit boring. They're often all white and have like two pieces of furniture in one big room, and too small to have more than one or two sims living in them, but this, wow! Even though it's a modern house, it really feels like a home. The furnishing and the architechture are amazing. Everytime I play with this house I notice a new clever design. Thank you so much for sharing it!
