Supernatural Child Glitch?
« on: October 15, 2013, 09:59:14 AM »
I've been playing Sims 3 supernatural for a while now and i've never ever had this happen before. im worried that if i continue playing that maybe the game will break or something.
Basically what has happened is i've made a Fairy and a Werewolf couple, they have a son who is a werewolf who is now in his teens and all is fine for him but when my Sims had the daughter i thought at 1st she as also a werewolf but now she is a kid and has both werewolf and fairy options.
she transforms into a wolf and can do everything werewolf but can also do fairy things.
i'll post a photo
I'm pretty sure this is not meant to happen right? :/

Are you using mods? If you're not, does exiting the game and clearing caches do anything?

By mods, I mean any third-party packages that enhance the game.

And sometimes the game is weird when assigning life states. Before Supernatural, I heard stories of people who were able to get hybrids with some aspects of both of their parents' lifestates. I thought it changed after SN since that patch changed the way that lifestates are inherited.

Welcome to the forum LadyMachine.

Sometimes CC can be corrupted if downloaded from a player that might use mods or programs in creating them. I would try turning your CC off and see if that helps. You can try clearing your DCBackup file and delete your compositorCache file and your simCompositorCache file.  as well.

No it wont.  But I would copy your The Sims 3 file to your desktop or other place you like before downloading any updates to the game or adding EP or SP.
