Baby gender

Has anybody had problems with selecting the gender of babies through apples/watermelons since the patch? Before I had no problems but in the past couple days since I installed the patch, I have had my sim pregnant two separate times and both times she ate about 10 watermelons and she still had a boy each time!

I have to ask are you using any mods? particularly Twallan's story progression as by default it tries to keep the town balanced gender wise and will make you have what the town needs rather than what you want. It's happened to me in the past.

You can change it under the pregnancy options to either instead of balanced for newborn gender and then apples/watermelons should work as normal.

Of course if you are not using that then I don't really know, the last baby girl I had in game using watermelons was before the patch.
