Cloche and CurlLady Sybil is the youngest daughter of Lord and Lady Grantham (Robert & Cora Crawley) and has two older sisters, Mary and Edith. She is loved by nearly everyone, both upstairs and downstairs. She shows particular kindness towards staff and even goes as far as helping one of her employees find a job as a secretary. She likes to be independent and to stand out and have her own opinions. She likes politics.
Bio extension:
(Do not read unless you have seen all 3 seasons of Downton Abbey or don't intend to watch it)Sybil becomes a nurse during World War 1. Chauffeur Branson expresses his love for her but she does not express her feelings for him but she doesn't deny them either. Branson stays at Downton because of Sybil. After the war, she admits her love for him and the pair plan to get married. It is frowned upon by many members of the family, especially Lord Grantham. After a failed attempt to run away, they go to Ireland and get married, with only Mary and Edith going to see the wedding. The pair live in Ireland until Branson (now known as Tom) is suspected of property destruction. He is not arrested but can't return to Ireland. By this point, it is revelled that Sybil is pregnant.
Later in the year, Sybil gives birth to a girl but dies shortly afterwards from eclampsia, which was misidentified by Sir Philip Tapsell, who Lord Grantham brought to the house to assist with the birth. Tom names the baby Sybil in her memory.
Everyday:
Sybil's everyday outfit is loosely based on the dress she is wearing in the photo (far right).
Formal:
Her formal outfit is based on the dress she wears in a promotional picture.
Sleepwear:
Sybil's nightdress is very similar to those of her sisters, but with a more colourful twist.
Athletic:
It was very difficult to create Sybil's athletic outfit. It is very loosely based on the photo, where she is sitting in the back of the car.
Swimwear:
Swimwear was also difficult but I based it on Mary's and Edith's but used a different swimsuit.
Outerwear:
Sybil's outerwear isn't based on any of her real outfits, but I created it based on her other outfits and general style.
