Recolours won't stick

Some patterns that I recolour, and some clothes won't stay recoloured. The pattern that I'm trying to do now is the store pattern in fabrics that looks like a circuit board, and the last colour in the swatch keeps going back to aqua. There are several clothes items (all under 'body') that won't save either :( Is there a solution?
