Ok, this one is bewildering.
Was playing my Sim family, the daughter was going to paint a still life, but I was looking at another family member when the camera kicked in. Suddenly, my house's roof was showing, and very much in the way. I moved the view, got a pic of something for the painting, but I can't make the roof 'vanish'. I go a floor below and see the basement fine, move up and the walls are cut away, but the roof is still there, in the way, and preventing me from seeing anything in the house.
Has anyone had this glitch before? I'm afraid I will have to reload the last save, but I hate to lose what I've done!
Oh, and hello from a new member! This is my favorite Sim site, so when I had this issue, my first thought was to come here. Since I didn't see any record of this particular problem, figured it was time to register officially.
(EDIT) Ok, did a Save As, shut down, and re-loaded the game. Roof is back to being invisible! Yay! Bu I sure wish I knew what happened... and a faster, in-game way to fix it.
