Moving to a New Town Cause a Restart on all Quests

     I just have a question.

     When I got Ambitions, I saved a copy of my family into the Library, and then imported them into the new town. But I found out that I had to restart all of my quests in each of the three towns included with World Adventures. It was like I had just installed the game for the first time. Is there a way to back-up your quests and data about each town before you move, so that when you get to your new town, you can restore those files, still be in your new town, and have the quests and vacation homes you own still the same and in the same locations?

Hi Spice_Boy, welcome to the forums. What you're trying to do is impossible. When you start a new neighborhood, you're starting a brand new save file.

I have done something similar to what you describe. But I saved my family's lot as well as the sims in the household and moved it to Twinbrook. I found that the quests did not restart. The tombs restarted though, but not completely (no Pangu's axe). And the vacation homes were returned to how they were when I first bought them. But perhaps that is still better than what happened to you? You can still move them to a new lot once the old lot is settled in the new neighbourhood.

I just moved a whole family to a new neighbourhood, you can probably guess which one \/_\/. But I am glad that it reset the adventures as you have now told me it does because I can have an Adventurer Sim now! I have not had a Adventurer Heir.
