Can't access my sims 3 store purchase history. Help!

(I don't know if I'm posting this in the right place so feel free to move.)

I bought a new computer and I tried to reinstall my store content. I could log in to the website just fine. Then I clicked purchase history and it asked me to log in again for security reasons, which is normal. But when I re-enter my password nothing happens, it just stays on the same page no matter how many time I click login.

I can still install item from in game, but I would very much like to leave that as a last resort because it very slow.

I'm using Internet Explorer on Window 8 with the default setting

How long have you let it try to log you in? If its taking longer than 5mins there is definitely something wrong. If I were you I would go to the help section and talk to EA through their online chat option - if you say it's about the store they are usually pretty helpful. They should be able to fix it for you.

I actually left it alone to see if it would log in, I only ment to lave it for 5-10 minutes but I forgot. It was left alone for 45 minutes and it still didn't log in.

Then you definitely need to contact EA help.

So, go to help.ea.com

Log in, then click 'contact us'. Put something in the question box, then it will ask you for more info - put in what game you're using. Then it will give you a list of answers that might be useful - ignore those (unless there's something relevant) and click I still need help - that should take you to an online chat with an EA person. I hope that works for you.

I had this problem on an old computer. I never did fix it, but I downloaded Firefox and could use that to access my purchase history.
