Please help! Copy household to library not working

Hello!
I would appreciate any help! I have been playing Sims for years and have saved households and sims, with or without houses with no issues but all of a sudden, my main sim will not save so I can move out of the Island Paradise world! Anyone else have this issue?

Are you trying to save an individual Sim? I know for sure that some occults can't be saved by themselves. Is there anything else you can tell us about what happens when you try to save?

I am just trying to save my Human female sim...I have tried it this way:
1.  Go into Edit Town.
2.  Click on your household (green icon).
3.  Click on the button that looks like a file folder and says "Save to Library" when you hover over it.
4.  Select to save "Household with House" on the next screen.

And it wont work. Doesnt save anything. It goes through the motions of saving, bu then its not in the library. I tried splitting up the household, and then saving the male sim, and he saved, but my female will not. Is it something with my Sim? She is human, nothing really unusual about her.

Have you tried the usual troubleshooting measures? That is delete the five cache files, and then restart the computer and reload the game.
