Palladium in pets for ps3

Where can I find Palladium? I'm on the secret invention opportunity (guessing it's to invent a SimBot) and I need this. Yes, I have the collection helper and I've looked in every public lot.

We don't have a lot of console players, so I'm going to try to answer this based on my knowledge of the PC version.

When you get this opportunity, a tag will show up in Map View to show you where the Palladium is located.  The challenge is that Palladium is very rare and it could be days before you see one.

Also, your question doesn't relate to Pets, which is what you put in the Subject line.  SimBots came with Ambitions.  Your topic can still stay on this board, but the Subject needs to be changed.  You can do this by clicking Modify on your original post and then edit the Subject line.  I would change it for you, but I'm not sure exactly where the topic will go if you have more questions.

Problem is, stuff like that doesn't show up in the map view on console. I'll change the title.

Also, if you could suggest a board where people DO have the game for console, that would be a big help. (an active board, not a ghost town like Gamefaqs).

Not trying to argue here (I just want to clarify), but there are only two Sims 3 games for Xbox 360/PS3 (the original and Pets). There is no Ambitions for 360/PS3, the invention skill was added in Pets for 360/PS3.
The original Sims 3 and Pets includes bits and bobs from other expansions (I'm not sure if we could call Pets an expansion either as I believe it's a standalone game like the variety of Sims 2 games on PS2), but there's no way to get Ambitions on 360/PS3.

u need a dog with digging bar level 10 then just tell him to find it

Its basically a metal (I think) that you can get your dog/Sim to dig up. If you had a dog, you might find some if their digging skill is high, I started finding some around lv 6 in digging, its not too hard to find if your dog has the digger trait, since they often automatically go digging when their needs are met, so you might find some, and not notice your dog was out digging (also helps to have the Treasure Hunter lifetime reward for your dog, since you can find 2 things of the same category, like metals or seeds, in 1 hole while digging, this also helps when searching for relics, it is expensive though!)

I found mine when I was 7 bars digging skill, near the abandoned mine

I would just adopt a dog.  You can adopt one on your phone under services in pet adoption.  Make sure it's an adult, because puppies can't do much.  It might take a bit, but have your dog dig until their digging skill allows them to find gems and have them only search for gems and eventually you'll find it.  It may take an extra digging skill to find a special gem like palladium.  Also you should have your sim do gardening and max it out, because the next step is to turn in 10 life fruits and you need to find a life fruit seed and you can't plant it unless you have a high gardening skill, then you have to wait for them to grow and harvest them.  I find special seeds in the park next to the abandoned Old Gilman Farmstead.  Check every day, because the seeds are different.  Or, you can have your dog search for seeds and eventually you'll get a life seed.  I would recommend getting two seeds so you get two plants so you can get to 10 fruits faster.  Also you want your dog to hunt for gems, because one of the parts requires getting I think a pink diamond and you have to cut it into a heart shaped.  It's either that or a ruby not sure.  I think there might be another step not sure.
