Can't go on an "Adventure" in Isla Paradiso

I have checked into the Sparkling Sands Hotel, asked the clerk about adventure and he talks, gestures and then nothing. No "adventure" in the opportunities tab, and no instructions in the dialog pop out.

I would like to unlock the island, what am I doing wrong?
