I was playing The Sims 3 Pets for PS3 today and on occasion my game freezes and sometimes I can press the PS button and quit and start it again from my last save and sometimes I press the PS button and nothing happens. In that case I have to take my game out of the PS3 and turn my system off and restart it. In this case I pressed the PS button and nothing happened so I had to restart it.
I eventually get to playing the game again my autonomy level was at high autonomy or something where basically the sims do what they want. Also, my lifespan moved to epic life or something like that which is one step away from immortal. I didn't move them to that. I had them set as puppet for autonomy and normal life span. Also, the tutorial and hint thing was checked to come on which was my first indication that something was wrong. I only had that checked in the beginning when I was first playing, because I didn't know what to do.
Next, some trophies I had earned, karma powers I had unlocked and my karma meter thing were messed up. The challenge "Miracle Worker" I had completed. Then, I see it is down to five points or whatever they are. I don't know if it's supposed to start over. I had unlocked most of the karma rewards and now only about two or three are locked. Also, my karma meter (the blue meter that goes up and down when you use karma powers and when you fulfill wishes) is at 200 and there is a lock button that goes from 200 to 250. It has always been unlocked. I thought maybe it was overloaded with unused karma power and thought that maybe if I used some it would go back to normal but it didn't. Some of the karma powers I can't use now because they're locked and they cost more than 200 karma powers.
Can someone tell me what happened? This has never happened to me before. I've had the game freeze on me before and have had to restart my system. I don't know if my system just went haywire or what.
