One of Twallan's mods and architect assignment
« on: July 19, 2013, 04:07:46 AM »
Hello, this is my first post on this forum so please let me know if I am doing anything wrong.

I installed Twallan's story progression, master controller and overwatch just now and everything seemed to work fine until I accepted and finished a renovation assignment. When I told the client that the renovation was complete, instead of waiting around in the house, my sim drove to a random place I think trying to tell the client the project was complete but still could not reach the client. I ended up waiting for the client to come home but by that time it was already pass my work hour.

Does anyone happen to have run into the same problem? If so, any idea how I can possibly solve it?
Thank you in advance :))  and I am sorry if there's been a thread somewhere on this topic ._.

You could try resetting your town or removing those mods and putting them in one at a time and testing to see if/when this problem occurs.  Twallan has extensive detail on issues for each of his mods and offers many FAQ's which might help.  The forum there also deals almost exclusively with the mods and you might find someone with the same problem.  Here is the link for NRaas:   http://nraas.wikispaces.com/.  In the left is the mod listings.  Click on your mod and all the detail is explained within.  My guess, the problem lies with Story Progression.

Yes, do post your question at the NRaas wiki. There are many experienced users there who may be able to answer your question.

Thank you both for the suggestions :)
I did go to "issues" before coming here but couldn't seem to find anything relevant. However, after reading the interactions more carefully, I think I have found the solution :DD

So for anyone out there who might have the same problem, the problem stems from the work push feature of the Story Progression mod. You just have to disable it by clicking on your sim→choose NRaas→story progression→general options→options:situation, here you will see that "work push" is by default enabled, just click on it and it should be fine once you see that the value behind "work push" becomes "false".

Hopefully this helps :DD

Glad to hear your problem is resolved and it was very nice of you to share your findings.  Story Progression is a complex mod with deep menus and it can be difficult to target conflicts. Updates for that mod are ongoing.  I use many of the NRaas mods and attribute smooth game play to them.  Don't necessarily use them to cheat, i.e. gain skill points or LTR's, rather they run programs that clean up the game preventing lags and other problematic instances.

Again, thanks for sharing your information and hope to see you often on this forum.
