Two issues

Since moving I've had an issue with my sims using the stove or fridge on their own. They act like something is in the way for a lot of things I ask them to do. If I reset them then they will use the item/do the action I want them too but otherwise they starve. I am starting to get so frustrated with it I'm tempted to make them move.

Also, ever since my patch all the stores have become community lots, the only one that is still around is the business office. I'm hoping when I have my sims move world this might be fixed but I'd really like to fix it if anyone had suggestions.

Have these things happened to others? and can they be fixed?

Well, my consignment store and alchemy store got broken, but I'm not sure if it was after the patch or after installing University after that. A factory reset fixed that though. And I'm having loads and loads of pathing issues too, specifically in Sunset Valley. Agnes Crumplebottom just died outside my sims' lot because she got stuck there.

I'm not sure what's causing all this trouble though. I'm playing on a lot where I've done a lot of playing before with no pathing issues, so I'm guessing it's a glitch that came with the patch or with University or Seasons, which are the EP's I've installed recently.

The issue with the community lots might get fixed with a factory reset I think. Instructions for doing that are in the Tecnical Help board. Your old save files may stay bugged though. The pathing issues... well, I just did a factory reset and they didn't get fixed.

I think I'll take a hard look at that fix, especially when I change towns. Thank you for your response, good luck with your game issues as well! One of my issues was fixed when I changed my stairs. Its weird but now they seem to be able to use the oven. Doesn't make much sense but hopefully it stays that way :/.
