Tip: Don't Max Skills

Something I learned.  When you're at university, one way to increase your grade is to increase in a relevant skill.  Like Athletic for Physical Education degree.  My sim was level 10 in Athletics before going to university.  I ended up using MC to reduce his skill level in athletics because just working out wasn't raising his grade.  He had to actually be raising the skill.  Just FYI.

That's what makes fine arts a breeze. My sim would just play for tips on the quad...bringing in boatloads of money and raising her grade at the same time. You can do the same with painting. It's the major you take if you want to be lazy.
