Can a merman that is your romantic interest still show you to the island ?

My sim and Triton are npt dating yet they are just romantic interest.And he does no live with her either.

I went scuba diving with him and did nothing but nothing happened.

I read somewhere that you do it at any diving spot.


I havent unlocked any islands yet.


And How do I unlock Beryl Shoals ?

I keep boating up to it on her personal speedboat but nothing happens.

Yes, an RI can show him the diving spot (I did it successfully). Make sure you're in a group with them, queue only 1 or 2 interactions, then just ignore them.

You can unlock Beryl Shoals by speedboat or jetski or anything else. Just make sure it is Beryl Shoals you're unlocking (I wasted a week trying to unlock the wrong island by jetski).

I thought it was the smallest puff of fog by the science lab.


I guess thats why it didnt work.Triton kept trying to talk to my sim. And my sim was catching fish.

Next time I will do nothing at all.

Beryl Shoals is addressed in a separate thread of yours, so I'll only say that's opposite side of the map from Hobart's Hideaway.

If Triton moves away, your sim will automatically follow them. Usually up to the surface, into a speedboat, and off to the land.
