Who is your favourite sim family?

So I've come to that point in my world creation - making sims! I'm not especially great at making sims, so to help me, I'd like some feedback on who your favourite sim families (EA and UC) and why? Take into account their genetics, skills, jobs, traits, LTWs and back stories, and anything else that you can think of.

This is one of those cases where everyone's answer will be different and by the time you're done, you'll have all the families mentioned at one time or another. We don't generally allow these kinds of threads. How do you intend to make use of this information?

I considered it to be the same kind of discussion as 'what's your favourite world?'. Research aside, I figured it would produce some interesting and fun discussion, whilst highlighting how different people use different sims for differerent play-styles. The way I play the game is going to be different from how someone else does, and it will be useful to consider that when creating sims to fill a town. For instance, having a Batchelor and Batchelorette in town with some painting and sculpting skill, decent traits and possibly some money would be a good point for someone starting a dynasty.

Well, who is your favourite family, Pam? Why are they your favourite? The guide can't tell me that. I'd really like to know. You can go first

I actually don't have a favorite family.  Well, the Dreamweavers, but they aren't townies.

Hehe I thought the Dreamweavers might be - if they were townies Other than all the time you've invested in them, what makes them your favourite?

I've only had UC for a few days but i thought it was funny spotting a Sim named 'Charlie Sheen' and excitedly showed my other half as he loves Charlie sheen

  My favorite family is the Medina household, from Isla Paradiso. It's Teodor Medina and his daughter, Palmira, and no matter what I do my sims always end up marrying Teodor. Including male sims and those who are already married to someone else. I don't even know what it is--Teodor has great traits and genetics, but I think what I like the most is the fact that he's a single dad. It's great that you have an automatic family just by marrying Teodor, and there's just something awfully appealing about adorable little sim girls.
