Do I need ALL Sims 3 patches or just the LAST ONE?

Hi everyone  ,

I plan to reinstall computer, so I will install The Sims 3 and expansions again. Do I need install ALL Sims 3 patches or just the LAST ONE? I install updates manually because computer is not connected to the Internet.

You will need all the patches but you might want to look into installing with no internet connection.  I tried to install the discs on my grandsons computer which has no internet and was not able to.  Made calls to EA and it was explained that one of the Sims 3 features is using the internet connection weather installing via disc or direct from EA.  I looked at some general responses doing a search and those indicated you could but I believe they were responding to:  could you PLAY without the internet even though the question was referring to installations.  Here is a link to EA HQ Forum which details pretty much what I just explained: http://answers.ea.com/t5/The-Sims-3/How-to-install-The-sims-3-without-internet-connection/td-p/198052/page/2

If you are going to go through the launcher to patch, it will download everything for you. But if you're doing it manually, you have to get each patch and apply it before you do the next one.
