Online Graph Paper
« on: July 01, 2013, 08:46:28 AM »
As some will know, I love finding house plans online and building them in Sims 3.  However, the early planning stages can be difficult trying to figure out dimensions of rooms and then building it, only to find I have to change something to fit the sim world.  Well today, I found online graph paper!

Now I can draw out the house plan in sim dimension squares.  This will make the actual building phase so much cleaner!  I thought I'd share for any others who would find it useful.

I make my own graph paper in CS2 and then copy the floor plan onto another level and adjust to fit the graph

So is one graph box a square in Sims?

So do you draw your plans out on paper using the graph paper or do you draw online?  It would be cool if you could put that directly into the Sims build mode.  If you draw online/on your pc, what tool do you use?
What?  Grannies can't play games?
I speak perfect Nooblik, (and some Simlish)!

This is the first one I've tried.  And it's mainly to help translate a real houseplan into sim dimensions.
