Creating Lots for Rabbitholes - Few questions

When I was playing before, there was an issue with combined rabbit holes not providing opportunities. This still the case?

If this is the case, does putting two single rabbit holes on the same lot cause this issue to occur?

No, it's fine to place them on lots together, and the recent patch fixed the opportunities! Yay! However, a new bug, if only minor, some rabbitholes have to be placed at least 4 tiles away from the sidewalk or they have routing issues.

In Sunset Valley, I'm sure the grocery store, the theatre and the bookshop are all on the same lot and they don't have any problems with opportunities.

Actually the opportunities are still bugged for rabbit holes that are the same building.  An example would be the stadium & school combo from Appaloosa Plains or Moonlight Falls.

Oh no really? Which ones got fixed then? I'm sure I read that there was a fix for rabbithole opportunities. Perhaps I got over-excited

There's like a 1 in 3 (guesstimation not fact) chance that you'll be able to complete an opportunity given to you by a combo rabbit hole but it was like this before the patch.   I played the MacDuffs in Moonlight Falls for three weeks.   None of the kids could ever complete opportunities at school and the parents never got opportunities from their careers.   I was going to test again soon on the career opp thing as that's the biggest bummer for me.

Oh! so this is why my child sim couldn't go to her ballet recital? She got the opportunity but I never managed to get her to go, the option was greyed out. It was in IP where the school is combined with the stadium.
