Crashing in CAS 'Plan Outfit'

My game keeps crashing every time I try to Plan Outfit on the dresser. It's fine while standing idle, but as soon as I click on anything it crashes to desktop with no warning message whatsoever. This has happened in both my DecaDynasty and my Shark Immortal Dynasty now. I haven't had chance to try it in any other file, but neither of them are very big files so I don't think it's a size problem. CAS works fine from the start-up Create Sims, and changing hairstyles works fine as well.

It did it once back pre-patch 1.55 and is still doing it after, so I don't think it's patch related. I haven't installed any new stuff packs/expansion packs since it started doing it. I did think perhaps it was too many clothing items installed, but the last thing I installed was University over a month ago now.

I've cleared my caches and restarted the game and my computer.

Hmmm. I don't think stylist booths (or whatever they're called) are banned in either challenge. Try to use one of those. I've had games that would crash if I did a specific thing, but if I just played another sim day or so, the action wouldn't cause a crash anymore. Also try deleting and replacing the dressers. I don't know if that will help much, but it's worth trying.
