Should I rather wait before posting a story?

When I joined one of the reasons I joined was that I wanted to post a legacy story, and since I joined I've been writing this story. Now, not only am I really new to the forum, I'm also really new to writing the Sims stories. All the writing experience I have comes from novels and shortstories. I've written about five chapters or so of this legacy story and I think it's looking pretty okay, but do you recommend that maybe I try and post this to for example a Tumblr, and wait and post it here when I'm less of a nooboo - or more sure that I won't fail?

I personally think that posting a story actually lessens your chance of failing as it keeps you motivated. I think my very first post over here was a story. So just go on, don't think much. We have a very friendly and encouraging community over here

Lol if you've written it like a novel, that's way better than what I've done. Everyone is friendly, and you have nothing to lose - go for it.

Heh, maybe I am a bit influenced by my novel writing in the story.

Anyway, thank you guys I think I'm just going to go for it - just need to type it up and things.
