Sims won't get pregnant(Try for baby option unavailable)

Hi Everyone,

So my game has been glitching lately or something. every female sim that I have is unable to 'try for baby' when I get two sims to be relaxing on the bed, the 'try for baby' option is grey and un clickable and when I hover over it, it says that this sims family has to many members to be able to get pregnant.

Most of the time there are no more then 3 people in the household. I know I can't have more then 8, but this is ridiculous.

Can you guys please help me out?

Just to get this straight: the females aren't NPCs, right? And do you play with mods?

No roommates, no NPC's and i have supernatural and university installed.

Are you in the University world? And are both sims part of your household?

It happens in both worlds, and Yes the two adult sims are part of my household. Every household has this problem
