Certain Store Items Not Showing Up

(I'm not sure whether to go post this on the Miscellaneous Help or Technical Help, so if I have it wrong feel free to move)

There are certain store items that never show up in my game, no matter how many times I try to re-install using various methods I found on this board. These items are all children's accessories hair: Paper Hat Princess; Traditional Ribbons Hairstyle; Braided, Bundled, and Beaded; Braids and Purple Roses; and both hairstyles from the Happily Ever After set.

I've tried uninstalling, reinstalling, using the method on the Technical Help board, and none of these hairstyles show up! Frankly, I don't want to pay for an item if I won't be able to use it. Is there some workaround for this, to manually put them into the game?

The new patch just took care of a lot of this.  Some of them are only available for the every day outfit. 

Have you recently tried to do them again since you updated your patch?

Yes--I tried to dress a child today, none of those hairstyles showing up. Tried to Re-Install Store Items, still nothing.

I know this seems excessive but I wonder.  Do you have a moment to do a factory reset folder, copy your downloads over and reinstall that way to see if it worked?  I had this problem a lot recently but the patch the other day really did fix that.

I actually did that several times before, so it doesn't seem at all excessive to me, but I suppose I could try again now just in hope that the combination of the patch and factory reset will fix it.

Edit: Great, it worked! I guess the combination of patch and reset did fix the problem. Thanks!
