Description: "This charmingly distorted house embraces its steampunk roots. With lots of crazy wheels, gears, and quirkiness, this house is perfect for the inventive and logical sim. Not ideal for family living, however."
Steampunk is both modern and surprisingly, very Victorian, so I tried to capture both in the process of making this house.
The house itself is small, compact, yet still spacious in its own regard. To keep with the cluttered feel of Steampunk, more walls were added to give the feel of a very stuffy, mechanical house.
You go enter the house through the first floor - rather, it's not much and doesn't contain anything save a staircase into the main house, and a door to the untouched backyard to be filled with whatever you may need.
Anyways head up the stairs...
As soon as you get up you will see the kitchen, off to the side. Also, you will notice the dining table and small bar to your right and left respectively.
More to the left is the small living space, with a gramaphone, and, obscured by the wall to there, is a computer space. (it's off to the left.)
Beyond that wall is another staircase going up to the next floor.
This is more of the entertaining area. There is a TV (it's cut off by the screen shot, again to the left), some nice, comfy couches, a chess set, and off to the right, the inventing room.
The inventing room comes with a shower, so you don't continually get singed.
Finally, up that staircase is the bedroom. Here, there is a double bed, the washroom, a dressing area, a train set, and a telescope to look out of.
