Simbot problem

Yes, Simbot is so lovely, but sometimes it's so annoying, too..

Like in sims 2, sims over-reacted when it was raining, snowing, etc

Same thing happens with this Simbot!!

At first time, when my sims met simbot as new family member, they poped up that 'Simbot!' reaction

(I can't exactly remember what they were, but I guess you will know what I'm saying)

I thought that would be just once.

But ever since, my family members are so busy to do that again and again, and later ordered queues are all canceled..

IT'S SO ANNOYING since they take shower not using toilet!! (always order has to be using toilet before taking shower !!)

Is this reaction meant to be? I want them to stop doing that. Are there some ways?

That is the normal reaction to Simbots and I am sorry to report that until EA decides to change it, we are stuck with that reaction.  If I have a Simbot in the house, I give them a room in the basement and have them avoid my family members so that I am not having to re-direct my sims into doing what they were doing before being interrupted by the Simbot! reaction

HI,
I gave my Simbot the eyecandy and attractive option and it did seem to work. Their reaction was better and I only had a few negative reactions. This reaction is an odd one, because one of my young adult males fell in love with their dad's Simbot quite voluntarily. So I killed her- I didn't want him messing around with her. I had someone else in mind for him. It's all ok now - he seems to have forgotten her now that her headstone has gone to the cemetary.

Thanks for quick reply for both of you.

I couldn't stop laughing reading through beanutz's reply.

I thought wildredchild's was little bit cruel for simbot

(Since simbot couldn't be a normal family member stuck in basement..)

but,, Wow... Flirted Simbot... Haha.. must be dead.. How dare he!

I think I should follow wilderdchild's suggestion. a little bit cruel for him though

I was not so cruel, I gave him a girl Simbot and don't ya know that they both had the Simbot! reaction to each other?  Such is life as we know it in the Sims 3 world.

Hi, I know it looked cruel but it had to be done. She had gone to the top of the medical profession. She was refusing to do any cleaning. And to watch her death in the pool was such fun. I did leave her around for a bit but she was just an annoying ghost, and anyway she would have been exterminated before long as he beau became a ghost buster. I did marry off another of his dad's simbots to the repair man. I thought that was a good match. Since she was always shorting out and he could repair her for free. They adopted a a baby boy and now live a nice life in their own home. My Sims visit them occasionally to do makeovers .
