Help with Dragon Eggs?

 Help!! I got the Dragon Valley and I put some dragon eggs down. I talk to them until the timer starts and even then I talk to them. Then it will go “your dragon egg is ready to hatch but it doesn’t hatch. I put them in front of fireplace and they still don’t hatch and they have 0 timer left. Any idea what I am doing wrong?

Do you have moveObjects on when placing the eggs?  They need an entire square just to themselves.   Go into buy mode and move them out into the yard and see if that helps.

Did it but it’s not hatching. Does it take time after it says “your dragon egg is about to hatch?”

Mine always happen right after the notification is given.  Restart the game and see if that helps it at all.  You may be experiencing one of the bugs.

I put the dragons outside and have space between them and still nothing I talked to them and everything. I also keep my eye on them while trying to keep my sim’s  happy.

Did you clear your cache files?  Does it happen in every file or just this one?

Edit:  I found a solution.  Reinstall Dragon Valley. Don't uninstall it.  Just keep reinstalling from your launcher until the egg hatches.  The website I read said if you wanted to hit the install button like three times in a row on the launcher before loading up to check.  Go for it. 


The problem is there was an issue with the installation that causes the game to not recognize the coding for a baby dragon.  You can't hatch what isn't there.
