Dirty plate glitch?

So I thew a wedding party in the backyard and a few days later when my sim went to clean dishes she kept doing the 'I can't pick this up or get there' yell. I finally found the dirty plate she was talking about! It is stuck in the ground!



Does anyone know how to fix this? I have tried the whole 'testingcheatsenabled true' then trying to crtl+click thing to delete the object but it isn't recognizing it! I have no idea how to get rid of this!

Perhaps you could try altering the terrain to lower it a bit? Maybe then the plate would be visible enough to click it.

I just tried that! It told me it couldn't do it because there was an object in the way -.-

Try enabling Moveobjects On? This is just a shot in the dark, mind you.

Try Reseting the lot?

With testingcheatsenabled on type in resetsim *  -- This will reset everything on the lot. Or it should.

If you really want that plate gone, try moving the house and place it back again, though the damage done may not be minor. If it doesn't work, try using a genie to magically clean the lot.
Edit: Use the genie first, moving the lot might not be worth it.

Use constrainFloorElevation false to see if you can move the land with the plate.  It seems to me it's stuck between the basement and the floor even if you don't have a basement.  This was actually really common a long time ago especially if you drag plates to the trash can or to the fridge.
